Sims can't travel, just keep getting sent to world screen!

Its just started happening since the last patch update. Everytime i go to travel with a sim or if i want to go to school or work with a sim. It takes me to to the worlds screen. Ive tried all the usal tricks to try and get it to work normally but its not having it. I have no mods installed, really need to know if anyone else is having the same issue and if they have resolved it.
