Sims cc not working
Hello, ive played sims for a while now and have accumulated more that 3000 files of CC I've never had problems. The other day I logged in to play and the game would not load, it was stuck on the load...

@tengenssexyrat The game will look only at Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you have any other folders in Documents > Electronic Arts, it won't try to look in them. (This is a good thing, because I keep a lot of stuff there!)
If you saved the game with the CC not installed/enabled, you'll need to either put it back on the Sims or restore an earlier version of your game. Here's how to do the second one: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mod-CC-Issues/I-need-help-fixing-my-save/m-p/12640403#M42078
How would I go about getting the mods to work again? When I start up the game it shows all of the mods I downloaded but when I open the game to customize my sims, only a few show up. I checked my mods folder and it shows that all my mods are in the folder, they just won't show up. I've ruled out broken mods and things of that sort. Thanks 🙂
@tengenssexyrat There are a few common reasons things don't show up in CAS:
- You're putting them in the wrong folder (this is usually the fault of OneDrive or something similar creating a second Mods folder elsewhere). Use this to make sure you're in the right place: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/
- You're putting CC more than five folders deep in Mods. You can have no more than five levels of folders in Mods.
- You haven't extracted the CC from the zip/rar/7z. Extract it and delete the zip/rar/7z file.
