sims custom content not loading/gotten removed from all of my sims

I had a very very VERY recent issue that happened to me around 20 or so minutes ago. I did the usual of loading my game up through Steam and the EA app, waited a little, and got the main select screen to see the last household I was playing with. Just glancing at him I saw that he was bald and topless, I thought it was just a glitched preview so I went to play him. Loading it up to what I left off on was him talking to another sim I made, the sim was white, naked, and just not what he looked like at all. I opened my "manage households" and pretty much ALL of my sims are bald, naked, or white and furniture is missing too. all of my sims are made with cc mods and so are some homes.

I'm not sure how to fix any of this, I checked the mod folder to see if anything was missing but it is all there safe and sound so I don't know if this is just some simple fix or not, like if I just need to update my game or anything. I'm not sure how any of this works since this is my first time using mods and playing on PC so I'm just kinda stuck.
