Sims Issues

I’ve been having a few bugs since the update and while I do have mods, I tested without those installed and the bugs are still present. My main issue is that

;My child sim recently aged up from a toddler (midweek, on a Tuesday, without a cake). She aged up when she was supposed to, but she can’t go to school. She has endless vacation days and I have no option to send her in. Her school performance is declining as though she’s skipping days, so I’ve been cheating in order to keep her at an average C grade

Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this?
