Sims lips folding into each other

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur?Every time for the past few days

What is your current game version number?

version 1.95.207.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Seasons, strangerville and a lot of cc
What happens when the bug occurs? I had just downloaded a lot of new cc that day- and suddenly sims were appearing without body parts, or with their faces glitched out. I thought it was because of the new cc, so I redowoaded some of it, and it seemed the problem had completely gone away. Then I went into cas and was moving a sims lips higher on their face, and the lips kind of twisted into each other. I uninstalled all my lip sliders- but every time I’ve opened the game since the same thing has happened.
What do you expect to see? Sims with faces. Lips that down twist into themselves.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, a lot. But I hadn’t had any problems at all, until four days ago. I downloaded a lot of new cc then and ever since there has been a lot of glitches. But before then, I already had over two thousand cc files downloaded, without any issue. I added a very small amount in comparison, out of which only a few were sliders and sim based. The rest were furniture. I reiterate that before then there were no problems.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes ^
Please describe the patch or change you made. I added cc.

It's not CC quantity but compatibility with the current patch level of the game. One piece of CC can cause a problem, yet you could have 3k pieces of CC installed that don't.

Remove all the new CC you added, trash the localthumbcache.package file, then load the game to see if it's working normally again for you. If it is, move the new CC you downloaded back into the Mods folder in small batches, testing your game to see if the issue comes back after adding each batch. When the problem shows up again you know it's one or more pieces of CC in the batch you last added.

@Bluebellflora Having the same issue as OP... Removed all my CC and reloaded the sim I had the initial issue with and nothing changed (lips folded into each other/teeth visible even after editing or using different face presets) :/ I'm wondering if it's part of the face glitches that have been happening lately but since OP posted this in February I'm not completely sure...
