Sims loading screen stuck!!!

Hello! I have a question.

I have a household that I'm trying to play with, but every play my game takes forever to load. I downloaded an apartment with a lot of cc off of Patreon and I didn't spot any broken cc when I did my test runs. I used a cc conflicter to see if there was anything messed up and found nothing. Everything is perfectly fine with it. I have no issue playing with other households, and I even play-tested Jammie and Tank (that's my Sim and her dog) in other houses and apartments to see if maybe she was the issue and everything ran smoothly, so I know the apartment is the issue. But that's where my confusion comes in. As I said nothing is wrong with the cc, the apartment looks completely fine when I load it in, and I have more than enough space to play (and download more mods.) Is it maybe because I have too many mods? Or maybe too many trays installed? I don't know, but someone help me, please! Jammie and her crush on her neighbor depend on it!!!

You can try replacing the apartment with another copy.  But tbh, it's probably something in the CC.

So, I suggest you try loading the lot into a test game without anything in the mods folder.  That will clean out all the CC on the lot.  Then, move a sim in and play for a few minutes.  Exit to Manage Worlds then go back into the lot to see if it does the same thing it is doing in your regular save. You could also exit and reload the game then go into the lot just to be sure.

To find the problem item(s).  I assume the CC came with the lot when you downloaded it.  If so, then put just the CC that came with the lot in the mods folder.  Start the game and install the lot again.  This time the CC should be there.  Then repeat moving in a sim, exiting and reloading the lot.  If it loads normally without the CC and takes forever again with the CC, then it's definitely something in the CC.  If the lot loads normally with the CC that came with it, then something in that CC is probably not getting along with something in the rest of your CC.

Then you'll have to test to find the CC items that are not getting along.  You can use the 50/50 method or test things individually.  How you go about it is up to you.  I would start by using the save with the new lot and CC and then start adding the rest of your build/buy CC back in slowly in groups until you run into the problem to narrow it down.  Hopefully, you've got your CC organized to make the task easier.  I would test all the build/buy CC first as I doubt it is a CAS item unless you added a bunch of CAS CC at the same time you added the CC that came with the lot.

    Hope this helps.
