sims not following commands

Is anyone else having issues with their Sims not following commands?

Mostly when interacting with infants/toddlers.

I'll select the 'adult' sim to feed an infant/change/put in crib etc and they just do not do it.

When they do finally react, for example, putting an infant in crib to sleep, they then take the infant out the crib straight away.

Anyone else having these issues?

It's really frustrating!
