Sims not opening after enabling mods and cc

Hi, this has been happening since I installed the ea app and have tried everything to get my sims to work. Every time I enable mods or cc, my game won't launch properly (I created two separate accounts to see if it would work). I went to check my mods to delete some, and my mods folder doesn't exist. How can I fix this?
