Sims Wearing Clothes When Nude

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.53.115.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure.
What happens when the bug occurs? My sims wear tops and/or bottoms when bathing, sun bathing in the nude, and walking around in the nude.
What do you expect to see? My sims nude with the little privacy blocks, of course.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

So I have CC installed but I have tried just about anything I could find. I downloaded a mod that would "reset the bathing outfit" and it did not work. I've gone in and changed all of my CC so that Nude isn't chosen as an option, and I have even deleted the CC that were showing up and my Sims just pick another outfit to change into. They even get tan lines from wearing the clothes! Please help.

    I found a way around it! I downloaded this mod from Scumbumbo and followed the directions for the bathing outfit and presto! Everyone was fixed 🙂

    @LeOmbreNoir Is your sim a former townie ? There's an issue with SIms that were suspects before and then are moved into houses.

    Can happen if you download a Sim from the gallery or move in a townie.

    There's a mod called simsinfo at modthesims that can give you information if the Sim has the hidden trait for being a suspect.

    One of my sims in the household is a townie but the other is a fourth generation of sims I have been playing with for months and it all began with me originally creating them.

    I'm not sure what MCCC is but I have Sim Creator and went in to remove the "nude" tag from all my CC and still no dice. Now my male sim is bathing in a non-CC pink female suit jacket. If I have sum sunbath in the nude it even gives him tan lines from where it was! I tried the mod for resetting the nude outfit and like a lot of others, it didn't work from me either. ☹️

    @LeOmbreNoir MCCC = Master Command Center.

    The glitched caused by cc can only be solved by resetting the nude outfit. unfortunately, I don't know if any mod that does that still works properly or not.

    Hi @NuklearNugget,

    Correct. On Answers HQ links to mods are not allowed as we don't verify mods and cannot guarantee their safety to your pc or the game.
