@graceymanors, hoping that works for you! 🤞 if it still doesn't , then I have a couple more things to try:
1) you can try placing the house on another lot and then test it in the new location
2) you can also delete the local thumb cache package file -- it seems we used to be told to just try to repair the game (which you already did) but now it is advised to delete the localthumbcache.package file as well, and then repair the game as before. Here's how to do it here: https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-cache-files/
These are Crinrict's instructions and Crin is a Hero here on this site and very helpful! 😇
After you delete the localthumbcache.package file and repair the game again, you need to exit and restart both Origin and The Sims 4.
I know this is a lot of information, but we want you to be able to solve your problem as soon as possible! 🙂
Finally, was this a house you downloaded from the Gallery? There is a chance it could be a glitched house. Also, many houses that people make require use to enable the Move Objects cheat for the items to either show up properly or to work properly. They usually warn us in the description, but sometimes they forget, or sometimes we forget to do this ourselves (I know I have! 😳😃 ) You can always try to turn on this cheat and then placing the house. To turn on the cheat, bring up the Cheat Box by pressing "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "C" and then in the box type "bb.moveobjects on" (without the quotes) and hit "Enter". Don't forget the period after bb! After you place the house you can turn off this cheat by bringing up the Cheat Box again and typing "bb.moveobjects off" and hit "Enter".
I hope we can fix your dishwasher issues quickly! 🤞 I know how frustrating this can be! 😞
Please update us whether any of these works or not. and if they do work then please tell us what worked!
Best of luck! 😉
