Sims Won't Change clothes from wardrobe. The game freezes.

When tapping on the wardrobe and about to show the different options of clothing you have made for your Sim to change into, the game freezes and I have to restart it for it to work again. It's been a while now and I can't seem to find the issue for it. It frustrates me so, so much at not being able to change my Sims clothes directly from the wardrobe.

The Sim won't even change clothes when doing different things, like going out when it's raining and stuff. It stays in the same every day clothing all the time. Only when bathing does it change clothes. 

Please help me figure out how to fix these things.
