Sims won't interact with object

hi,

I seem to have an error every time I play the game. I looked in Last Exception and it said something like (AttributeError: 'Somewhere' object has no attribute '_require_carried' and the error module is constraints.py . Whenever I play my game my sims can't interact with objects. For example picking up babies or sit down on the couch, the sim doesn't move. It's not completely frozen because the sim can still walk somewhere, just not interact with objects. I've tried everything to fix it, update the game, delete all mods, uninstall the game but nothing works. I'm basically unable to play now so I really hope someone has a solution.

@simmer8890 While you have a clean user folder, run a full Game Repair with the EA App so that EA updates your program files for you.

I just incountered this issue has there been any progress on fixing this I took all my mods and CC out and it still is happening

@MisfitBec Are any last exception reports being produced? And are you on the current game version? You might need to have EA verify your files through a Game Repair in the EA App.

@luthienrising Okay will try a repair, I get one last expectation report each time I load the game, should I delete the mod associated with causing the issue

@MisfitBec Probably? It depends on the report. I'm happy to look at the most recent one (it needs to be from after the patch) if you want to attach the file to a reply.

Has this still not been fixed? I'm having a similar issue
I've never used mods or anything so this is a base game issue
my sims just stand around and start dancing sometimes even with no music
when i try and get them to do something like wash their hands, they just stand there washing their hands in midair, nowhere near the sink
I've reached out to EA about this, gave them the last exception files and they "submitted a bug report in my name"
Its really frustrating, i just wanna play the game....

ShirtlessKoala It's usually caused by mods for most people, and not by only one. If you have a Mods folder empty except for Resource.cfg AND you have this issue in a new save, try a Game Repair via the EA App (or the equivalent in Steam). If that doesn't solve it, try uninstalling and then reinstall via the EA App/Steam.
