Sims won't move. Cannot switch between sims either.

Having a recent issue with my sims getting stuck after playing the game for maybe 10 or 20 minutes. They will not move, and I am also unable to switch between sims. However, when I pause the game, then it'll switch to the sim I clicked on in live mode. This has only started recently happening after the last few updates (particularly bad after the one earlier this month). I'm assuming it's likely from mods, but I also read some forums from years ago with people having the same issue, and they claim its from the seasons expansion. It would happen to them when the weather would switch. I have had Seasons for years and never had this issue though, so I am still thinking its from mods. Does anyone have any idea if there are any specific mods causing this issue recently? Here are the ones that are in my game:

Then I have some mods for traits, CC (which has never been the source of major issues in my game, so I highly doubt this is what's causing it), and other stuff such as CAS backgrounds, a different loading screen, map replacers etc.

Most of these mods have been in my game for a very long time and have never given me issues until recently. I am typically very good at updating them too, so if any of these have had a recent update, I do have it downloaded.
