Sims won't sleep in their beds, only nap

Beginning a couple of days ago, none of my Sims in either of my Sims 4 saved games would sleep in their bed(s). They try to go to sleep after claiming the bed/side of the bed, but they immediately throw up their hands and do the "treasure map" thought bubble which means something is in the way. I have literally put the bed in a HUGE room with NOTHING else inside of it and this still happens. What is even more frustrating is they will easily NAP in the same bed, in the same location, without a problem, they just won't SLEEP in it. What is going on? I haven't installed any new mods, added any expansions, or made other changes for at least a week prior to this happening. I just logged into play one day and the problem started.

I know some people have had this issue because their Sims were trying to sleep during the day rather than at night, but this is happening to my vampire Sims as well and they should be able to sleep during the day without a problem.
