sims

Children randomly being "whisked away," people randomly dying, broken moodlets, what's going on?? I can't go 15 minutes without the entire sim house dying or being taken away. Any reasoning there might be for this?

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

PC with custom content, which I just deleted everything and redownloaded updated versions/deleted about 80% of the junk I had, so I'm not sure what could be causing these issues.

Most of the mods I have downloaded are from trusted creators and/or creators I've had for a long time, before this issue occurred.

(sorry this is really late, didn't see the response and have tried to fix on my own and remembered this)

Are you still having this issue? There were a bug that caused this but it has long since been solved.

  • Yes, this issue is still happening. Sims won't listen for more than 5 seconds, and children with full needs are being whisked away. Any suggestions on what I should do? (even with mods uninstalled, still does not work).

Update to situation: Sims and chairs do not get along, constantly getting up and into them without completing task at hand. None of the sims complete their tasks, and they're randomly leveling up sims without them doing anything. Ex) A sim of mine reached level 10 in gaming when the sim had only been at level 2. Another example, he cooked 1 serving of vegetable dumplings and got to level 3 in cooking. I'll attach a video as an example to what's going on.
