Sims4 loading

Hi! So I’ve been playing sims for a while and I never had this issue. 

my sims4 runs smoothly until I click on a closet or mirror and go to change sim. It will not load. 

I tried repairing my game, I disabled my mods, I reinstalled my save files, restarted the game, I even tried to edit a sim through “shift and then edit in CAS”. 

but nothing works, I fixed my “old” mods, I really tried everything but it just stays stuck on the loading screen. 

please help me.

    @Ju_ul_tjeee9  Please remove the Mods folder and test again.  You don't need to save your progress.

    If this doesn't work, test with a different sim, and if you can't get into CAS with a different sim either, test a new save.

    Hi thank you. I was able to make a new sim and then CAS would open how it normally would. 

    But I did manage to find the defect, it was the “unlimited likes” I had downloaded. That mod caused the same issue for many people so I found the solution on Reddit.

    @Ju_ul_tjeee9 The current version of Unlimited Likes is fine, but it also has some other mods it conflicts with. THose should be listed on the mod page.
