Sims4Studio virus? Sims4Studio_v3.1.3.6

i got a notify from the studio that the game has updated and and should update the sims 4 studio to.
now i downloaded the new Sims4Studio_v3.1.3.6 but first of norton noticed it and asked me about the safety. i just clicked it away since i got the previos version so i thought it was okay. so i tried installing it but imediatly my windows defense something told me it was no good.

so does anyone had this before and what should i do. i need to update him if i want to make new cloths but im not sure if its like safe. i mean the previous one i have had no problems my pc and norton didnt say anything about it.


Edit: after some more research i found out a lot of people had this problem and that when they downloaded it it was all fine.
i cant find a way to delete this post so i have to let it exist

Norton is *very* cautious about things (as is Windows Defense). And they will flag as "virus" anything that doesn't have long usage or a "certificate". There are ways around it that are easy to find on a Google search.

And since this can be of use to others, it's good that you *can't* delete the thread.
