@Phantomlover1717 It was partially to do with the mod. I think because I had adjusted the seconds and then adjusted them back again, it messed with the Seasons but I lowkey needed a new game anyway so I've started afresh now! Thanks for your help though 🙂

@xoChelleJoxo Thank you! I had the scrambled calendar issue (most likely because I'd fiddled with MCCC's timing setting). Followed your instructions, and it worked like a charm! I did take two additional steps before using the machine, however: I temporarily disabled aging for all Sims, and used MCCC's pause all pregnancies option. These can obviously be re-enabled after using the machine.
