Start screen corrupt

i'm having crazy issues too! i updated my game today and went in without mods, and it looked fine but my sim was corrupt (not in gameplay i havent dared open that). i then went in with mods and the whole start screen is corrupt and i cant click on ANYTHING. literally what do i do :(
