suddenly anything i click doesn't work anymore

i've had this issue already some months ago, yesterday i came back to playing sims though. i only had one skin default replacement CC inside the mod folder, ingame everything worked normally until i clicked on the gallery and it didn't open, nothing happened and the same with everything else i tried to click after, i'm not sure if it's mod related or not since it was just one skin CC and CC rarely breaks game features
