Suddenly have shiny/reflective sims bug in 2022

There was this old bug in 2019 I think where the scout uniform caused sims to look shiny and have reflective spots. Suddenly this is back in my game and I can't figure out why.  Some extra info: -...

@LolaLikesC4  It's possible this was caused by a system update, either some element of Windows or the graphics driver.  But it's really difficult to troubleshoot with an old version of the game.  Other than checking for driver updates and rolling back if necessary—you can do so through the Device Manager—I don't know what to suggest.

@puzzlezaddict that is one solution, but I'll probably need to update eventually, that includes the game so maybe its just an inevitability that its going to keep happening ☹️ thanks for your input anyway
