@_awkwardlezbean did this get figured out? I have high school years and noticed this issue as well. I kept joining them to go to high school but it takes forever for them to complete a task or they just stop in the middle of it. They never increased performance. I gave up on joining them and sent them alone and then started noticed performance increases as normal again. Not sure if it's a high school years glitch or general glitch or just the issue where sims generally aren't completing actions (they just disappear from the queue). I had this happen on several teens since high school years has come out. Now I follow them one time so I can make sure they meet their fellow teens and then send alone.
