The game won't let me open build mode or save, it's saying "game loading is in..

I accidentally saved my game while my sim was trying to take a picture and that's what caused this. I have no idea how, but now I won't let me open build mode, edit my sims, open the gallery, or save...

I'm not sure how saves work on XB1. Do you have a recover button in the Load Menu for your saves? On PC, it's next to the delete button on the right. If you do, then that is probably the easiest way to revert to an earlier version of the save you've been playing. If not, then you will have to revert to an earlier save file.
