The sims 4 residential worlds won't load!!!

Help!!! I've spent hours today downloading all my sims onto this laptop. And created my family and now it's in the worlds page and it won't load. It's a white screen that says residential worlds.

I've cleared the cache. I've spent so long researching and I can't find a solution. All I want to do is play!

@666_Carbide_666 I don't. I only just downloaded the sims and all the expansions today to the laptop as I used to play on origin I've not played for ever!

@666_Carbide_666 Yes, a completely new game. Then it tells me to pick somewhere to live but the world's don't show up unfortunately.
  • @tash163 I made a quick test. Started a new game, created a random Sim but I don't have this issue.
I don't know whats wrong in your game 🤔
In the last time many people had Problems installing AddOns because the EA App installs some files in Delta folder and not directly in Sims 4 folder. Maybe your issue has something todo with that.

Open your EA App, klick the 3 Lines on Top left corner, navigate to "Help", then "Restore" and select "Clear Cache".

After that, let the EA App repair the Game and test again.

@tash163  Since repairing didn't work, please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of Sims 4, and the EA App while you're at it.  Start with Sims 4:

    • Put aside your Sims 4 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts and rename it to something that doesn't include the words "Sims 4."
    • Download Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) from here.
    • Launch Revo, select Sims 4 from the list, and click Uninstall.
    • Once the game is uninstalled, select "Moderate" under "scanning modes," and click Scan.
    • Review the list, in case there's something you want to save; otherwise, click Select All, and then Delete.
    • Close Revo, and restart your computer.

Uninstall the EA App with Revo as well.  I don't have instructions for that at the moment, but the process should be straightforward.  Restart again when you're done.

Install the EA App, then create a new folder into which you'll install Sims 4.  The folder should be on the root level of the drive of your choice, for example C:\Games is fine, but not C:\Program Files\Games.  Before actually installing Sims 4, please disable your antivirus if you use a third-party app, and launch the game once before reenabling the antivirus.  You can set exceptions for TS4_x64.exe and EADesktop.exe after testing.
