thumbnails are all missing in sims 4

hey, the thumbnails are missing in everything. the main menu just has text, no images of previews for packs or anything. all icons are missing their icons unless you hover over them. in a save, the images of the houses or the households in them are missing. it's just blank. in live mode, the icons for various ui things or the moodlets are gone. it's just blank spaces.

I've reinstalled the game, deleted mods from the folder, reset the game files, deleted localthumbcache, etc. Nothing is working. Please help!

    It's fixed. All I had to do was to update my computer lmfao

    @crinrict , I'm playing on a 2017 MacBook Air, and I'm using Origin. I've repaired the game multiple times, especially after reinstalling. I'm using MacOS Monterey (if that's what you mean by security software).
