Toddler traits not available

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? Not sure how to check on Mac but the software (Sims 4 and Origin are fully updated)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get Famous
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Toddler traits not available
What happens when the bug occurs? Toddler traits are not available. Potty training, walking, talking actions are not available.
What do you expect to see? Toddler traits available
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I can't teach my toddler anything. When I interact with them I can only do the basic toddler care activities (put to sleep, change diaper, feed etc..). When I press on the potty trainer I can only ''put in inventory''. When I use my toddler and press on toy I can only ''play'' with them but they don't gain any skills. 

My Sims 4 is up to date and I just downloaded my first extension pack (Get Famous). I have no mods and don't use any cheats. First time playing since a year or so when I had the toddler traits working fine. I restarted my computer and software several times and repaired the game in Origin but issue persists.
