Unplayed NPCs not living in Glimmerbrook will no longer appear in Glimmerbrook performing Magic.
Fixed in Patch 1.59.73
@Grouchybeast, thanks for that info! I did not realize that the game was tagging them all as Spellcasters! So I agree that this is odd. (your Vampire/Forgotten Hollow analogy was great! :eahigh_file🙂
My guess is that Townies show up so the game doesn't have to generate completely new Sims to round out the magical realm, but they should all be tagged as Spellcasters! 🤨 @moxiegraphix , I guess that is why they can all go to the realm... in order to fill it out with more "Spellcasters" even thought they aren't really supposed to be Spellcasters! Kind of like how Bella Goth can show up as a vet in Brindleton Bay, even though she already has another job. 🤒 Instead of generating a new Sim, the game just reuses ones we already have in the game!
@PugLove888 And, normally, I'm all for reusing sims. Still, the game seems to want too many and I'm not sure I want every townie to be a spellcaster, LOL, even if they aren't all running around the regular world casting. I haven't discovered yet how already having a bunch of spellcasters affects things. The hope would be the game wouldn't create too many more but that's not generally how the game works without mods.
@moxiegraphix, true! And I don't play with Mods (never have in TS4) so I just have to deal with any problems like this until or if they change them. 🤨 At least they aren't running around turning other Sims into inanimate objects or setting everything on fire! 😃:eahigh_file:
