Traits not working

Hello everyone

 if someone could please help me I wouldn't greatly appreciate it. I know that this conversation has started many times but I'm at a loss,  I currently have no mods in my game as I accidentally deleted the folder but thankfully have a backup from a few months before. Please and thank you
