Trouble voting in Eco Lifestyle
Hi,
So, this is what's happening: Friday rolls around and my Sims want to vote. I've had them try voting at those community info boards but everything is greyed out,t nothing to click on except the delete-choices button. Yes, it was between the hours voting is open And in their neighborhood-this happens when they try to vote at their mailbox, as well.
I had 2 sims from different Evergreen Harbor neighborhoods get married and move into a third, and neither could vote from their new mailbox.
Another issue I have is that I can't modify any of the vacant, industrial lots. I tried to turn them into a community lot of different sorts (from the dropdown list) and after lots of time putting them together, the next time I go there- nothing was saved. (Once I got a red message that said something about having to be voted on.) And to be clear, when I did build on the lot I used the drop-down list of necessary elements (bathrooms, equipment, etc) to make sure they had everything needed for that lot type. Very frustrating after all that work.
And while we're at it, I moved in a Sim into Evergreen Harbor, and as I usually do, I move my sims into a place they could afford, use the motherlode cheat and then move them into a better lot. And everything was fine. I send her to a park in Brindleton Bay and there's another Saoirse walking around- with her dog! To Clarify- there are two identical Sims AND one's constantly having huge brawls with other Sims. (That's NOT Saoirse! I hear that constant fighting can be turned off in the voting screen- but see above.) - So, I went back and noticed that somehow, that particular Sim was inhabiting 2 lots, so I evicted the imposter. Problem solved--I thought. Later on, I send another Sim to that same park and, surprise, surprise, there are now Three 🏀 Saoirses walking around with their dogs. Is this one of those random Sims4 visual jokes or a glitch? This is one of the married sims I mentioned before; very strange to have another Saoirse- not his wife, Saoirse- inviting the husband to hang out.
The voting issue is happening in all my worlds. Hope you can help
