UI not showing up in build mode-TS4

When I go to build mode in TS4 the UI goes away even whenever I exit build mode its just gone. I can't control my sims or anything else. Like everything that's usually at the bottom f the screen for gameplay is gone and idk what to do to fix it. I've tried repairing it through Origin but that hasn't worked either. Can someone please help? The first photo is me in build mode, the second one is me out of build mode, and the third is me trying to click on my sim.
