Um... all the horses disappeared from my game and ghost dogs came back to life

Not quite sure what to do here? Sienna's Flapjack and the Groves and Mr. Gooseman have no horses anymore and the ghost dog from the Brindleton Bay cemetery came back to life all on his own? I have one save before and one save after the patch. I'm afraid to play now. Does anyone know what's causing this? I repaired the game, started a clean folder, and I've updated all my mods. I just double-checked. Could I have missed something?

    @eternallycharmed Alright, I managed to open a wonky backup drive and found that the horses disappeared in the last patch. Not sure why, but I tried to make a new horse and saved, and it remained, so I guess the original ones are gone but the issue itself must have been fixed in this rounds of mods or game bugs. Just sharing, in case this happened to anyone else. The dogs coming back to life didn't affect the ghost professor or Lady Mimsy. Just the Whitaker dog. And that was Carl's Sim Spawner Tool, the one I downloaded a couple of hours ago. Oh well.

    Redid all the above and started a new save. The horses are there, so I think it has to be a mod. But I can't figure out which one. Currently doing 50/50 all over again to see if I can figure it out.

    @eternallycharmed So far the only thing I've been able to find is that Carl's Sim Spawner Tool is responsible for the resurrecting dog, but no luck yet on the horses.

    @eternallycharmed Hopefully, whatever caused that has since been updated! I don't know of a mod that was doing it.

    I'm not very familiar with Carl's mod. You might want to ask on his Discord server if it's meant to do that.
