could you post the full error message you're getting ?
Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.

I have fixed the issue, ChatGPT analyzed my crash report and provided a solution, it is caused by the Build/Buy unlocker mod that I download in 2017. Because this mod leaves behind residual resources and code even after being removed from the folder, I mistakenly thought the issue wasn’t caused by the mod.
