Update removed items from game

The new update removed not only my mod, but it removed clothes and hair that were not CC, but from the sims 4 packs... I do not know if I  should start the game or not out of fear that this will be permanent or reoccuring. With all the trouble EA brings to the sims, it really is not worth playing or purchasing anymore

  • I have just loaded up my game and some hair is missing and the game itself is lagging.

Most of the time when you first launch post-update it will reset your Game Options and uncheck the 'Enable Custom Content and Mods' and 'Script Mods Allowed' boxes.
It's an easy fix, just load the game on the home page upper right corner ellipses (three dots) >> Game Options >> Other >> check boxes for 'Enable Custom Content and Mods' and 'Script Mods Allowed' >> Apply Changes. Then restart your game.

Note you will probably have to do this after each Sims update.
