    Well I'm not sure what caused it but solutions is to back up your save and tray files. Uninstall Sims 4 through Origin, delete your Sims 4 folder in your documents and reinstall completely. You won't be able to reinsert your save and tray files until you've opened the game for the 'first' time and the folders are created. Just odd but glad can play it now.

I'm having the same issue on PC. I uninstalled all mods and repaired my game, but that didn't fix anything. Attached is an attempt to chat with one of the Moonwood Mill werewolves. I also tried interacting with werewolves in pre-existing saves, and the issue persisted.
