What's the difference? (Alpha, Maxis, and clay.)

Yep, I'm a noob.

So the only thing I know is that Alpha CC is realistic and Sims 3 era looking, and MM looks like maxis hair. I just need a few simple things on this, and I also see a lot of people confused on this so I thought I'd try and help them out (don't thank me i am a noob).

ALSO WHY DO THINGS SAY CLAYIFIED???

    Alpha/Realistic hair
