When Changing an Infant's Outfit; Game Infinitely Loads

Hi all!!
Only today my sim had her infant, but once I aged her up and gave her a makeover (using MCCC and cas.fulleditmode) I've found that whenever I go to change the infants outfit with either the built in interaction or MCCC dresser, it doesn't actually change the outfit at all. It causes the infants portrait to disappear, their outfit stays the same as it was and whenever I go to world view or simply attempt to save my game it causes an infinite loading screen.

It works fine if my sim changes the infants outfit to put them to bed.

I've tried taking all of my mods out and that did fix the issue, but from then on I tried to 50/50 method with ALL of my mods and CC for the past hour but to no avail, I went through one by one yet couldn't find what mod/CC was causing it as it didn't happen again until I put everything back into the folder. Two mods (Healthcare Redux and Writer Career Overhaul) were making it so I couldn't interact with the infant or any other sims at all (I couldn't click on them) when in my game with absolutely nothing else, until I put all of my other mods back in?

Having those two mods out doesn't fix the outfit changing issue at all.

I have TwistedMexi's Better Exceptions mod but it isn't picking up anything :/ I don't even get a last exception error.

It's unfortunately still happening. It may be something to do with the sim itself at this stage. I've tried them in a new save file, I just tried another clean save file with completely new sims and two infants with the same trait as my other one but the glitch hasn't happened at all. ☹️

I've also just tried with the same household in a new save file, I added a new infant using their genetics and the outfit change thing wasn't happening to the new infant until I attempted to change the first infant's outfit, then that broke the other one too. ☹️

  • @Faerilia Many mods that weren't broken earlier this week are broken now. That will include many mods that haven't yet been reported broken or cleared. Right now, I'd advise removing anything other than CAS catalogue CC and non-interactable objects that's not listed as cleared or updated here: Broken/Updated Mods & CC  Then see if that works. It does sound like you had some outdated or wrongly installed mods, possibly, too.
