When painting items get moved to household inventory

@00pixelparty   I tried to test this, but either I can't replicate or I don't understand properly what to do. Could you please explain in more detail. Does it happen only when you remodel; or just by going into build mode? Do you use mods?

It’s an interesting problem, that is why I asked if you have mods, to figure out if it could be an effect of those; or something the matter with the game.

@00pixelparty  I am sorry for such a late answer, and possible necroing too; but the AHQ notification mail of you tagging me/posting here, was sent to an odd category in my mail, which I only randomly looked through today. I found a bug report on your issue though, that was fixed november, in patch 1.58.63:

If it matches your issue, and you still have it, update your game. Otherwise post again (I know..) I will look through the trash mail for the notifications from now on.

I know this is such and old post, but I just had this issue as well.

I just opened the Sims and hadn't turned on move objects yet (ofc I hasn't realized I hadn't turned it on yet), once I noticed it I googled it to see if anyone had an answer and found this.

I just tried turning on move objects and that seemed to fix it, so I guess to anyone else having this issue that Googles it, check to see if you have move objects turned on! It was only happening to objects that I had placed with move objects
