Where did my things go and I can't plant

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.97.62.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Werewolves, Cottage Living, Discover University, Moschino, Island Living, Cats and Dogs, City Living and Dine Out.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have restarted, updated and repaired the game multiple times. Have checked my cc and changed them to newer versions, restarted and repaired again. Have tried switching lot and see if it works then but it didn't change anything. I can't plant anything (and really want to do the simple living challenge) and if I buy anything it dosen't appear in the inventory for the sim. It can appear in the build mode inventory but not anywhere else. If I pick something up it dosen't appear in te inventory either.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I try to plant they go and the planting animation shows but it dosen't plant anything. If I buy seeds and they don't show up in inventory but when i click on plant oversized crops one seed option pops up even though I bought every option, just one shows up, but it still won't plant anything. The same applies for normal sized seeds. The inventory thing is it dosen't appear anything when I buy, put something in inventory by hand or when the sim picks it up.
What do you expect to see? The sim planting the seeds and it actually planting and growing. The things I buy for my sim and what the sim pics up to actually appearing in the sims inventory.

Please describe the patch or change you made. It appeared for me after I updated to the lates version.
