when starting a CC I never know where to start or what even to type in to find the best CC for my sims. (especially kids and toddlers and males) I’d like to know where the best websites are to find...

I get most of my contemporary clothes on TSR. It's hard to find exactly what you want, so it's easier to just browse everything in a certain category instead of searching a specific word when it comes to clothing. Then when you find an artist that has something you like, go to that artist's page and see if they have more things that are your style. That method has worked for me.
