Why do people upload CC sims/houses on the gallery?

Now I'm not knocking anyone for using CC first of all. I'm an avid user of CC and I can't live without my folder of ccs! That said, I really don't understand why anyone uploads CC sims to the gallery....

"False advertising"? It is not like you are buying these sims/lots.
I upload any sims that I think that look good. I put a #CC tag if I used CC on them, but I other than that I don't think twice about it.
