Why does my CC show up in CAS but not in gameplay?

I've started experiencing an issue after downloading the script mod, "wonderful whims". Certain items from my CC do not show up while I'm in gameplay, but they appear on my sim in CAS. It also only happens to be things you put on the face (custom eyes, highlights, lips, eyeshadow, eyelashes, skin details etc.); my hair, clothes and body accessories do not have this issue. I've had the script mod before and it has not caused any issues, but had to recently redownload everything as my sims was extremely glitched due to another script mod, "MC Command Center" which I also had in the past and absolutely caused no issues. Could this be because my script mods are possibly outdated? I've provided a screenshot below to better describe the issue. 

Edit: I've checked and I've got the highest quality settings possible, and I do not have laptop mode on. I removed wonderful whims and it seems as if that wasn't the issue; I still cannot see my CC in game, and it only shows in CAS. I also seem to have some CC showing up under the "script mods" section even though they are completely unzipped.
