Why is my Sims aging quickly?
I tried to play with one of my Sims today. He jumped from Young Adult to Elder. He skipped Adult. I have also played with a few other Sims who were halfway through Young Adult, then aged-up for no reason. I did not give them any potions, and I did not have them blow-out birthday candles, so there was no reason for them to age.
In the Gameplay options, I have the Sims lifespan set to Long. I also have a rule that a Sims cannot age-up unless I am playing with that household, so these Sims should not be aging.
@smithk3629 Did you try to turn off aging in the game options? That's the way I play the game and when I want to age up a sim I do the cake thing. This was caused by an recent update and it seems the devs are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. Stay tuned.
