Hi guys, this should be fixed in today's patch (1.5.149). To regenerate thumbs that had previously been generated incorrectly you will need to delete the local thumbnail cache file by deleting the following file:

On PC: C:\Users\\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\localthumbcache.package
On Mac: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/localthumbcache.package
