Why won't sims stay over?

Question

The template didn't come up so I'm winging it. Playing the Sims 4 on Mac, game version 1.101.290.1230. I do have mods installed. I've got all EPs except high school, horse and cottage. Only GPs are spa day and jungle. Only SP is laundry. The issue is happening 100% of the time.

NO ONE COMES OVER whenever I try to plan a stay over (whether I organise on calendar or the sims call and ask). It is marked on the calender, I get the notification, but no one comes. Very irritating issue, as I have twins my sims are struggling to look after.

On a similar note, before my sims even had kids, and now that they have newborns, I can't get Eleanor Sullivan to lose my number.

@zurokqli2xki Since you do have mods, you'll need to test whether they're interfering by playing without them: Drag the Mods folder to your desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, and test in a new save.
