“Online connection is required”, unable to collect rewards

Hi everyone, I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue or know how I can fix this.

I’m playing on PS4 and have completed about half of the quests for the natures calling event, though recently when I try to collect my rewards, I get a pop up saying “online connection required, Please go online to save your event progress and receive your rewards.” 

I’m also not able to access the gallery, as it doesn’t even give me the option to view the gallery but only my library when I try and access it. My PS4 is connected to internet with no problems and I have tried both restarting my console and the game multiple times.
