Broken

I cannot play at all everytime within minutes it won't let me save my game at all so no matter what I'm doing building or a playthriugh anything I do I will completely loose every part of progress I make and if I try to save it completely crashes and I can't even leave that little menu from save to exit menu at all and I'm so lost I've seen simmers playing on YouTube and twitch so I don't understand why this is happening to me and I believe it's only been since the last base game update I'm so lost never even knew this thing existed but I really need help sims is my coping mechanism to everything and I'm so lost can anyone help???!!!
