Game stuck on loading screen

For almost 2 weeks any time I try to load a saved game  to play any household or after creating a new household once I hit play household my game gets stuck on the loading screen, the different tips load and the PlumbBob still rotates but the load bar doesn’t move past like 4/5th filled even after waiting hours. I can’t play any games now I thought with the new game update this would be fixed. I have entirely too much time and money invested in this game for me to not be able to play it. Does anyone know how to fix it?

    I'm having the same issue. I can build all I want, but I can't actually play and it's driving me nuts. I've completely re-installed the game and all packs / kits / ..., hard reset my xbox, deleted old saves, even deleted new saves, deleted game data, ... I don't know what else to do. 

    I just want to play ☹️

    It was something on the lot that was causing the game to glitch so before hitting play, I just evicted them from the house and then demoed the lot and built a new house on a different plot

    I had this a couple weeks ago and spent hours figuring it out, with tinkering and the help of EA answers I found out it was the off the grid trait/challenge, it's currently broken at the moment, so maybe if you have this that could of caused it, if you do, from world maps enter the lot through build mode, turn it off and that should fix it :)
