My game is UNPLAYABLE

I’m very disappointed. Over the past 5 years I’ve happily spend over $1,000 & put in over 8,000 hours into the sims 4. It’s my favorite game.

However, with each game patch I’ve noticed my game running slower and slower. Freezing more and more. At first it was only when I tried to travel. Then I made sure my sim would stay on the same lot all the time and still, it would randomly freeze. It freezes when I try and go into CAS mode and edit my sims. 

Just recently with the update from Tuesday July 1st, 2025, I was excited when it fixed the weather issue of it raining or snowing inside. The only problem is now, I can’t play the game for more than 5 minutes without it crashing, and almost all of the characters in one of my most played households, they’re bodies are ALL BLACK. I can’t even play anymore. I’m so sad and disappointed I have NEVER put more time and money into a video game in my entire life and now I can’t because your updates have ruined everything.
