Nature's Calling Event won't come back after Xbox Reset

Hello,

My son reset my daughter's x-box to try to fix an issue with a different game they are playing. Unfortunately this meant that I had to redownload all things Sims related. After re-downloading all of my expansion packs the Nature's Calling event didn't pop up. I've tried deleting and re-downloading the entire game and all expansions multiple times, I've unlinked and re-linked the x-box and my EA play account, we've restarted the x-box multiple times and made sure the game was completely closed out and it still won't come on. 

What are we supposed to do to get this to work? It shows on the side bar that the event is still going on but I have no options to go to the event tab anymore when logging into the game. Please help. This is on an x-box one series s I think.
