Re: Can’t Download Packs On PS5

I logged into my girlfriend’s account on my playstation. So I’m playing on her account but on my playstation. I’m only able to download and use certain packs but others are missing. For example, she has city living and discover university but it doesn’t show on my playstation when I’m logged into her account.

Thanks for this info! Let's try these steps to get the DLC installed:

1. Restore the licenses on your console 
2. Go to your Game Library 
3. Scroll to Your Collection
4. Select The Sims 4
5. Scroll down to Add-Ons and locate your DLC here
6. Select the DLC in this list and select Install
7. When the download finishes, let your new content install and restart The Sims

If you're still not able to access the DLC with these steps, please let me know. 

It still didn’t work, everything is the same and there’s nothing new for me to install. The same packs/dlc before were the same after I restored the license and there was nothing to change/new to install. I’m doing all of this on the PS5.

From her account, are you being asked to re-purchase those already bought DLC? 

Yes! When I go to the playstation store and look for the pack that I’m missing it asks me to buy it even tho she’s already bought it.

I just got off the phone with Playstation and I was told that the DLC's will not transfer from the PS4 to PS5 even though a handful of them did tranfer.  I am being told that I now have to repurchase the Sims4 and ALL packs to play.  Please tell me this is a joke.  This is what Playstation told me.

Same exact issue here. My bf bought me a ps5 for Christmas and I can move everything to this console, but they won't load or register with sims 4. It wants me to repurchase about 3k worth of game content I already bought.

Any purchases you make on your PS4 would transfer over to PS5, as long as you are logging in with the same PSN account that the content was originally purchased on. Have you verified that you haven't purchased some of your DLC on a different PSN account?

It sounds like you're logging into the PS5 under a different PSN ID than the account your packs were purchased on. You'll need to be sure you're logging in with the original PSN account and all your content will transfer over.

I've been having a similar problem, I have my friends account on my ps5 who bought bought most of the packs yet i can only play them on her account. 

I have had trouble with the game for a while,  keeps coming up with arrears,  freezing up or kicking my out,  now I keep getting this message up can you help, I have tried everything,

@mummabear1969Have you also tried to restore licenses? The only thing I can think of that might help with this

Also, possibly do you have enough space, maybe if it's low on storage it might not be able to fully load your saves?
